Efforts focus on correlations of molecular and surgical pathology of ENT, heart, lung, and colorectal diseases, and the subsequent testing of these data as independent predictors of clinical outcomes in patients.  Current active projects include molecular distinction of ENT and lung non-small cell carcinomas, ras signaling pathways in non-small cell lung carcinomas, C4d protein immunohistochemistry in heart allografts, dynein protein immunohistochemistry in primary ciliary dyskinesia, and ras signaling pathways in colorectal carcinoma.
